 I always keep a safe and accurate scale in my house for my family members and me. I tried 3 times in a row on this scale and it gives me exactly same readings of my weight. As you can see from the video, you don't have to tap it or switch it to turn on. Just stand on it and it will measure your weight automatically. The scale has a really nice looking and the platform IS thicker than my previous scale's platform as shown in the product description. I feel safe when I stand on it. The big scree and cool blue backlight make it so easy to read in even dark area. Oh, the font of the number is big too and seems like they are bold style. Also I found the body tape measure was included in the product box (It's free gift from the manufacture which is a $5 value item). The manual is easy to understand. A terrific scale with great accuracy. Like it says, you don't need to tap it to get the weight. And how many ever times you measure within a short time, it doesn't change even by 0.2 - that accurate !! Looks fabulous too .. with the big blue display and the transparent body. So much so that just to see the display and stand on it, you'll keep measuring your weight way more often than necessary. I am surprised that they offer such a wonderful product at such low price.
