So many family and friends have scales that "weigh heavy" or "Weigh Light", this one just weighs what you weigh. It is always within 1 lb of the doctor office or Weight Watchers. I have had mine for Probably 11 years, and 9 moves. It's durable!! I'm now in the market for a new one only because one of the feet came off and the kids threw it away, so without it being totally even, it's not as accurate. It has about a 3lb +/- now. With this scale, you can get a new weight each time you step on. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not. I guess you could weigh yourself several times and then take an average, but why should you have to?

Try something else. This isn't worth the effort.

After receiving this item, I weighed myself and my husband weighed himself and each and every time it was different and no matter what we did, that darn dial wouldn't stay on zero. Our weights differed each time by 2-5 pounds. Very innacurate. The only nice thing is that it's attractive, but takes up alot of room too.
