I have found that bathroom-style scales vary wildly in both accuracy and consistency, a common problem. I ordered this scale in late April and it arrived promptly. It looks nice and it's easy to read, but what really pleases me is that it is both impressively accurate and stays consistent. I don't know how consistent the products accuracy is, from unit to unit, but the fact that my own scale has excellent accuracy suggests that the design is an inherently good one. I feel that this is an superior scale and a good buy. I like this one. |

I replaced a still-working electronic scale because it varied as much as two pounds from one day to the next, and the variations made no sense. After a few initial weighings and easy adjustments, this HealthOMeter scale is much more consistent. I've had it and used it daily for over two weeks now, and it returns exactly to zero every time.I agree with some other reviewers that the per-pound lines are a little difficult to read, but even in dim light without my glasses, it's not hard to judge where the indicator lies between the five-pound lines and get my weight to the nearest pound. If you need more than one-pound precision, you will have to go for a digital scale.
I would definitely buy this scale again, especially at the price it's going for now.

This is the best scale we have ever owned! It is big and sturdy, it doesn't tip over sideways when you put your first foot on it. I love scales without batteries, and it seems they are less common these days. We are buying this one because our previous battery operated scale died. Thought it just needed new batteries at first, but no, even with new batteries it was still reading way off. This HealthOMeter is simple and accurate.
