I am replacing an older Soehnle round heavy glass & metal scale that we had for a long time & now has failed. It was not "instant on" but seemed to be very accurate (even for smaller items) and was more expensive when purchased. It gave many years of good service.Recently I ordered a different Soehnle scale that turned out to be very erratic and inaccurate and I returned it. Now we have the "Silver Sense" and it seems to be a good choice. It may not be as sensitive as the old one weighing smaller items, but everything else about it is good. If you reweigh something it will come up with the same number. It is easy to read and doesn't have extra information. It's instant on (doesn't need to be tapped ahead of time) and the flat top should let us weigh suitcases. We think it is attractive and the glass area lets our wooden floor show through. Also, we like that it uses a common sized battery: AAA. |

We replaced another Soehnle that, unfortunately, had some red nail polish splash on it in our bathroom. We couldn't be more pleased. This is a classy scale that compliments any decor. You might even find that it gets "lost" on your floor since it's made of mostly clear glass. We've found the readings to be very accurate and couldn't be more pleased overall. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had this scale for a year or so. I just had to replace batteries and the scale now starts at 26 lbs instead of zero. I contacted company and was told it was too expensive to repair, buy a new one. I will buy a new one , but not this brand. Looking online this is a common problem with this brand. › See all 4 customer reviews...
