I didn't purchase this product from Amazon but felt that I needed to share my experience. The scale would not stay on the setting (lbs/kgs) that I set on the back of the scale. It would switch back to kg after I switched it to lbs every time i stepped on it. Six months in to owning it it no longer works. I step on it and it bounces between numbers (50 pound swing) then comes up with an "err" message.

This Taylor scale, 7406-4102, is sleek and sturdy, and provides a large and easy-to-read display. It is an excellent product once the selector switch for kilos or pounds is set on the metal bottom, and it remains in place, which took a few tries. The stainless top offers a clean look and yet in reality it shows water marks and needs to be wiped off occasionally. Still, it's modern in appearance and would complement any bathroom. Accurate and consistent with regard to weight results, well made and priced reasonably, I like it. Nice.
