scale's very accurate and the best part's that you don't need to worry about batteries anymore. it functions with ANY type of light, even with 45 seconds of light from a flashlight. every morning i pull it from under my bed and give it a couple seconds of sunlight and it's ready to go...would highly recommend !!!
