If you just need a good idea of weight, then sure this scale is fine. However, I need an accurate reading every morning. If i step onto the scale, record the number, then step off and back on for a second check immediately after, the number fluctuates up to a WHOLE lb in either direction.

While this scale is very pretty, and looks great in my bathroom, it is simply too inaccurate for my needs.

I got this beautiful scale delivered to me Friday afternoon, its now Monday morning and the scale reads 30lbs lighter than it did 3 days ago. As flattered as I am, I know that there were no miracles over the weekend. I tried it on a non-carpeted floor and got a proper reading. Its so much better to look at than a regular white or stainless steel scale and works just fine so long as its used on a hard/stable floor.
